Thunderbird Lodge is an affordable motel in Norman, Oklahoma, offering daily, weekly, and monthly stay options. Guests stay with us for overnight visits, short trips, work assignments, and extended stays. Our lodge provides a convenient location and a budget-friendly alternative to traditional hotels and extended-stay properties.

As an exterior-corridor property, every room opens directly to the outdoors, ensuring minimal contact with other guests. Each room features its own independent air conditioning unit (no central heating and air) providing you with a safer, more private environment.

We love what we do and it shows. We've had the honor of serving the Norman community for 35 years, and we dedicate our utmost energy to making sure each guest enjoys their stay. As a motor lodge, there is no need to drag your suitcase through long hallways. Simply pull up to your room, park, unload and enjoy your time in the Norman community! From the comfortable pillow-top beds & hypo-allergenic pillows to top-notch customer service and comfort, you as our guest are our top priority! 

KEEPING REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS

Please realize that we are a two-story motel (motorlodge). Breakfast is not offered and we do not have a pool. The majority of the single queen beds are located on the second floor (accessible by stairwell only), while rooms with two queen beds are on the ground floor. There is no elevator. 


Until further notice, we will no longer offer daily housekeeping, but you will be provided with ample amenities for the duration of your stay. The majority of our property is smoke-free, with the exception of a few designated smoking rooms. If you need to "light up," be sure to request a smoking room to avoid hefty smoking fees.
