When rooms are booked directly through the Thunderbird Lodge front office, we are able to provide you with the best rate in addition to offering multi-day stay discounts when paid upfront, contractor crew rates, corporate rates, and discounts for both emergency personnel, the military and veterans. Weekly rates are available for those who book direct and need extended-stay pricing. By eliminating housekeeping, we are able to offer additional discounts by eliminating services you simply don't need. Kitchen units have all been furnished with flat screen tv's. Weekly rates require a refundable credit card deposit of $100 for incidentals. A weekly stay consists of 7 consecutive nights.The discounted weekly rates are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Should you check-out early, the unused portion will not be refunded.
Curbside Check-In
CHECK-IN HOURS: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
There is no need to leave your vehicle; we will come to you. Park by the black mailbox, which is located in front of the office door, at the end of the canopy overhang. If you prefer to come into the office, you have that option as well.
Arrivals after 9:00 PM are only permitted with prior-day arrangement by management. Subject to availability.
Contactless Check-out

Simply leave the room key inside of the room and shut the door behind you on your departure date. If you need to extend your stay, please let us know before 11:00 am check-out time.
Photo ID required for all guests and visitors
Guests must be registered throught the front desk by showing a valid government issued photo ID. The name on ID must match the name on credit card. Minimum age to rent a room is 21 (exception: active duty military with current military ID)
Nonsmoking means no smoking... of any kind
Smoking in a nonsmoking room will result in a fine of $350, no exceptions. Use of cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping or smoking/vaping of medical marijuana are only permitted in designated smoking rooms. This includes smoking outside, then disposing of ashes or cigarettes inside of the room. If you intend to smoke, please book a smoking room.
Housekeeping Frequency
Until further notice, we no longer offer daily housekeeping services. Each room will be provided with ample amenities for the duration of your stay.
Deposit for Incidentals (Refundable)
A refundable deposit is required for certain situations:
- Kitchen Studio: $100-$200
- Paying with Cash or Debit card: $200
- If dog exceeds 35 lb maximum and have management approval: $ varies
Frequently Asked Questions

THE FINE PRINT:
- Prices are subject to change without notice and are also subject to availability. All typical daily rates are based on non-event day availability. Rate is prior to 16.75% hotel taxes.
- Room Occupancy Limits:
- Queen Bed: 2 person maximum
- Two Queens: 4 person maximum
- If paying with cash or some debit cards, there is a $200 incidentals refundable deposit. All kitchens require a refundable deposit.
- Third party payments are not accepted. Cardholder must be the guest staying in the room. The name on the card will be matched to the name on the photo ID prior to processing that payment at check-in.
- Should early check-in (before 3 pm) be available, it is subject to an additional day's rent and taxes.
- The discounted weekly rates are for those who book directly with Thunderbird Lodge. Should you decide to book through an online third-party, you will be charged the daily rates made on that third-party online booking site.
- Q- Kitchen, Fully Equipped, Downstairs (if available), will be priced the same as a QQ-Kitchen, Fully Equipped, Downstairs.
- Discounted weekly dog fee is for dogs under 35 lbs. Does not apply to larger breeds.
- Discounted weekly rates will be charged a surcharge during University of Oklahoma Football Home Gameday weekends.
- For an additional fee and deposit, kitchen studio units can be supplied with dining and cooking ware.
- Maximum length of stay: There is a 28 consecutive day limit on all rentals.
