At Thunderbird Lodge, we understand that people have different needs when traveling and we are able to accommodate this with a variety of packages. Daily rates are available for the quick-overnight stays, while both daily and weekly rates are offered in fully-equipped kitchen studios for longer term stays or simply the added convenience of a kitchen.
For those who are nervous about traveling in these uncertain times, rest assured. Your safety is our top priority. As an exterior corridor property, all doors lead directly outside. This also means that each room has its own air conditioning unit (no central heat & air), and you will have minimal (if any) contact with other guests. All rooms are down for a minimum of three days between guests. You can view our safety protocols on the following page.

The team at Thunderbird Lodge is monitoring the situation with Covid-19 (Coronavirus) closely and are working behind the scenes daily to be prepared in this uncertain future. This situation is rapidly changing and we hope to be prepared with multiple contingencies as events unfold and will follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and the local health department.
Due to the pandemic, if you need to cancel or postpone your trip, you can do so without penalty as long as you do so by actually cancelling the room directly with us. Reservations made through an online travel agent or any third-party booking platform will need to be cancelled through that platform. For reservations made directly through our front desk, simply email or call us and it will be taken care of quickly. Those who make reservations, especially last minute reservations, and do not show up for your reservation, you will be charged a cancellation fee of one day daily rate along with hotel tax, regardless of the reason for the no-show. When we hold a room for you, we lose the opportunity to rent to another person.
